Broker's Comments
In my opinion, the Bavaria 30 yacht has to be one of the most highly sought yachts in her class. Why? I think the answer is simple: they are so well designed with every inch of space used. As a result, they are incredibly spacious for size and have very comfortable accommodation. They also have a great reputation for their sailing performance and cleverly designed cockpit configuration.
Designed for relaxed, comfortable, family sailing, this Bavaria 30 would make an excellent first yacht or a long distance cruiser for the more experienced sailor.
Well equipped for short handed or solo sailing, she comes with in-slab reefing for the main, a furling headsail, all lines leading aft to a roomy cockpit, self tailing winches and an auto-helm and fitted with an electric windlass.
The accommodation, with four berths, is spacious, bright and well finished. There are opening ports throughout. The forward area of the saloon can either be a comfortable double berth or used as a great storage space for bedding etc.
Moving aft, there is a comfortable seating area with a saloon table and lots of large storage lockers. There is a good sized nav table on the starboard side with a separate heads compartment aft of this. To port, there is a galley with cooker, fridge and sink. The aft cabin has a good sized double berth, ample storage and access to the rear / side of the engine.
There is a comprehensive nav fit out in the cockpit that is easily visible from the helm along with a handy transom gate leading out to a large sugar scoop / bathing platform and fold-away swim ladder.
The owners have shown me detailed documentation on the continued maintenance and upgrades they have undertaken on this boat during their ownership. This boat has also very recently been out of the water and has had a new coating of antifoul and her anodes changed and is ready to go for the new sailing season.
This yacht is built for easy, relaxing, sailing / fun in the sun.
Also, one very nice additional bonus with this boat is that the owners have pre paid her current berth up until end March 2024. Further information is available on request.
Please don't hesitate to arrange a viewing as I don't think she'll be hanging around for long!
