Broker's Comments
This Converted Fishing Vessel is being sold as a project that has great potential as a liveaboard or a motorsailer.
There is a long list of things to do but the big plus point is the mechanical and electrical side of things. The engine is an absolute gem (see video) and a large part of the £17,500 asking price is the engine alone. It's a perfect basis for a project because the expensive bit is already in place and doesn't need to be worked on at all. The boat was also professionally rewired in 1995 and the quality of the work in the engine room is obvious. Again, it's a big tick off the list when taking on a project.
The hull does need some planks replacing above the waterline but below is in decent enough condition and the boat does not take on water.
The boat was originally built in 1942 and was converted in 1995.
The boat has a leisure mooring in Egham which would be available with the boat on approval from the mooring owner.
