Broker's Comments

This sturdy, seaworthy ex-Norwegian fishing vessel with canoe stern and classic lines is impressive. De-commissioned in 1998, and fitted with a new engine, this vessel has been converted into a spacious and practical sea-going live-aboard.

A previous owner of 10 years took this vessel on a four-year adventure around the Mediterranean with his family, where she proved herself as a strong and comfortable home.

The enclosed wheelhouse with comprehensive navigation suite and galley, has great all round views. The decks are wide & uncluttered with high bulwarks, offering good protection and 3 separate entrance points to the accommodation. There is a separate storage room / lazarette behind the wheelhouse, that includes plenty of shelving for deck equipment and a stand alone freezer.

Down below, there is a spacious living area with berths for 5 in two cabins, a roomy heads compartment with a full sized shower tray and, aft of this, a large walk around engine room.

During 2018, the engine and stern gear were run up and tested, the navigation equipment was checked for serviceability and the deck was repaired & resealed. Having been out of the water, the hull and caulking would need to be checked before a relaunch.

Advertised at a very reasonable price, this vessel would make a good live-aboard and, with some work, could soon be mobile again.

The current boatyard permits owners to live aboard whilst carrying out maintenance, and there are toilets, showers, laundry facilities and a cafe on site.
