Broker's Comments

J W Miller & Sons Ltd was a boatbuilder in St Monans, Fife, Scotland for over 200 years. ... James Thomson Niven Miller opened a second yard in Anstruther, where he was able to build larger Fifie fishing boats, and steam trawlers and drifters, ...and not forgetting this lovely little potter; which has been in the present ownership for over forty years. Sadly for her captain it is now time to retire from hauling his pots, a task which he has undertaken mostly single handed in his faithful and well found vessel, the Vital Spark!
NB: this boat has a shell-fish licence for 48.9 VCU's (old units) which represents the bulk of the asking price for this licensed fishing boat.
