What another great listing for Boatshed Cornwall. This Prout Snowgoose Elite catamaran has been listed for sale here in Cornwall. This is the updated version of the standard Snowgoose 37 with a slightly wider beam.
This catamaran was found afloat on the pontoon mooring and first impressions suggested a yacht that had been kitted out for some long passage-making. Once onboard, it appeared to have many improvements, particularly with the navigation fit out.
Other things of note are;
Renewed engine (2011)
Renewed standing rigging (2011)
Renewed sails (2012)
Renewed fuel tank (2011)
Overall, it would seem there has been a lot invested in this Prout Snowgoose Elite and it is understood to reflect a plan to sail to Portugal. However, COVID managed to spoil those plans. This seems to be a well cared for yacht and is a fine example, although some may not appreciate the interior decor.
Still worth a viewing though, if you are interested in catamarans.
