Broker's Comments
More than 20 Akilaria standard version Class 40’s have been built. The boats are well built, strong and reliable. They have a well proven track record on trans-Atlantic races, around the world races and inshore events. Purchased new from MC-Tec with final fit out to a very high specification completed by Brian Harris at the Maine Yacht Centre. This Class 40 has been professionally maintained, with no expense spared. The result is a Class 40 that’s in excellent condition with a highly developed current racing sail wardrobe. An excellent buy for anyone looking to join the North American Class 40 circuit this Summer, with the existing skipper a very enthusiastic member of the US Class 40 Association and keen to help new owner move into the class.
