Broker's Comments
The Etap 32s benefits from some of the industry leading innovations to come out of the Belgian Yard. The build can be described as a 'hull within a hull', with closed cell foam in between and has been categorised as 'A' rated for all ocean cruising. This double skin design provides the benefit of significantly increasing buoyancy, sound proofing and temperature regulation, whilst significantly reducing internal condensation. The tandem keel gives a better aspect ratio, creating more lift and lateral drift efficiency, at the same time as having the benefit of reducing the boat's draft. The wing bulb also provides improved hydrodynamic characteristics.
The deck has been well thought out, with side decks and a foredeck that provides good room for moving forward, mooring and anchoring. The cockpit is spacious and comfortable, with good all round visibility and protection from the weather. Below, the accommodation has also been creatively designed and with the number of windows provided, has a light, open and airy feel. The galley is well placed for preparing meals, both whilst at sea and entertaining and is opposite a practical and tidy navigation station. There are two private, double cabins, one aft and one forward and the saloon provides capacity for a further two, single berths. The separate heads, like the remainder of the boat's interior, has good standing headroom, is stylish and benefits from a shower.
This boat is an attractive proposition, not only for its technological innovations, but also it's good sailing characteristics, style and comfort. The tandem keel and overall design provide the opportunity for cruising from shallow draft waters to open blue waters. For anybody looking for such a vessel to enjoy a multitude of potential sailing, in comfort, style and safety, we recommend a viewing.
