Broker's Comments
You may not necessarily know the name Kim Holman (latter half of Holman and Pye), however many of his designs will be very familiar: the Twister, Stella, Elizabethan 29 and 35 to name but a few of over 70!
This Rummer yawl, heavily built and of shoal-draught for the East Coast, was not a typical Holman type but it proved popular and during the early 1960's 10 boats were subsequently built.
Within this ownership (last 9 years), this particular example has been refitted and upgraded and has benefited from regular maintenance but also been sailed and enjoyed immensely.
She appears shipshape and well cared for on deck - the varnish and paintwork look great - and below she is dry and fresh. Where required she has been modernised; the wiring for instance is renewed but she has retained her traditional feel and to me she is just lovely
