Broker's Comments
This 44ft Colecraft has now moved to Glasson Marina and has had quite a lot of work carried out recently.
Comments from the owner:
Snail underwent a comprehensive refit and refurbishment between 2012 to 2018. This included new pitch pine flooring, new wall cladding, new windows, new fresh water tank, a new Morso wood stove and central heating system. A new engine and gear box were fitted in 2014/15. Amendments were made to the gas cylinder storage compartment to meet safety requirements. The bow area was over-plated and the hull cleaned and re-blacked in 2018.
All of the electrics were overhauled in 2024/ 25: This included complete re-wiring to the battery compartment, 2 new leisure batteries and a new starter battery, new isolator switches and rewiring to the inverter (a safety requirement). The electric consumer unit switches were replaced and rewired, restoring power to the internal sockets."
She benefits from a 2014 Beta 30 with just short of 2,300 hours and she was previously used as a hire boat.
