Broker's Comments
Here we have a very tidy example of the ever popular Seamaster 23 cabin cruiser. This model was fitted with a brand new 32HP diesel in 2015 and has been regularly serviced since. She has a valid Boat Safety Certificate to October 2024.
This very nice little boat offers great space for her size and is very well equipped for all year cruising.
She has a very spacious saloon and galley layout with more than ample work surfaces, concealed gas cooker and concealed fridge. The dinette is large enough for 4 adults and has a two stage folding table giving extra flexibility and a great feeling of space. Forward is the sleeping area which has recent new cushions and is a very good size. The saloon converts to a double berth making this a very versatile family cruiser.
The large heads and shower compartment completes the cabin layout and has a pump out toilet to holding tank.
Her engine was replaced in 2015 by Marine power solutions of Surrey in Feb 2015 and is an MP332 3 Cylinder Diesel producing 32 HP. The engine and outdrive have been regularly service by marine professionals since.
The cockpit is a surprisingly large and social space given the 23 foot length, and has a teak floor and a large aft bench with good upholstery.
The owner has 4 (2 new) folding pedestal seats (no pedestals) which can be seen in the pictures, that are being sold with the boat but are not fitted.
The fully instrumented helm has a GPS and a VHF radio and is very well laid out. Her canopy by Bailey and Stone was fitted in October 2017 and appears to be in very good condition and well fitted
She also benefits from a ducted Gas fired heating system, shore power installation and quality procharge battery management system. 4 Life jackets and all crockery , cutlery, glasses, spares etc are included as the owner is giving up boating due to mobility issues so this really is a fully equipped package that will be sure to delight her new owner.
The only negative points that I noticed was that the toe rails are in need of revarnishing and there are a couple of scuffs on the hull from fenders rubbing and mooring but these are all very minor and cosmetic and simple to remedy.
She is currently stored ashore for the winter
