Broker's Comments
Seamaster 30 with fully moulded centre cockpit and aft companionway door.
The current owner is unable to get to the boat and as a result she is looking neglected as the photo's show.
The decks are solid and there are no obvious signs of damage to both the hull and topsides. The side and foredecks show no signs of flexing whatsoever. Once aboard and you take time to appreciate how good this boat actually is, it soon becomes obvious that whilst there are a few areas of rot on the internal ply linings (the worst area being on the port side cockpit widow), the main interior woodwork is of high quality and far superior to any Seamaster 30 I have seen.
The upholstery is also good especially in the aft cabin and cockpit areas. Mechanically is where she also scores very highly. She is powered by twin Perkins 4108 diesel engines which started for me without any fuss or smoke and the gearboxes are silky smooth.
She has diesel fired warm air heating, 2 heads and showers and offers 6 berths.
Don't let the exterior grime put you off this one, The owner has, over the years, made this boat a little special in many ways.
She is priced very keenly given what this boat has to offer overall. Also worth noting is that she is Broads Licensed until 2023 and her BSC runs until 2025.
This is not your average boat being advertised as a "project". On the contrary she is a good boat priced very competitively.
These boat details are subject to contract.
(Note, the price is such that the owner is looking for asking price offfers only)
