Classic wooden Caïque from the Hassan yard in the heart of the Turkish wooden Gulet boatbuilding quarter. She left the yard in 1986 and had a rebuild/refit in 2007 and has been regularly maintained by our experienced owners since 2011. Dry docked every year for paint & antifouling and all other maintenance as required. Spring 2020: Keel shot blasted then 5 coats of epoxy, hull four coats of either clear varnish or paint.

A real comfortable cruising home with the warmth (both visual & insulation factor) of a quality wooden construction, this yacht has all the qualities of a classic cruising home. From the huge and fully enclosable aft deck with comfortable seating we go forward to an equally impressive wheelhouse saloon. The folding table has accommodation for up to 12 guests and panoramic windows for a bright “outside inside” feeling. Helm to port with comprehensive instrumentation and a door to port allowing the skipper easy access to the side decks when necessary. Forward again to the galley & dinette to starboard and the first guest cabine to port. The guest cabin has a bed of 2m x 1.2m and storage. Galley is equipped with a domestic style cooker (2016) with three gas rings one electric, an electric oven, dish washer, 24v Waeco fridge freezer (2016). Next forward is a heads shared by the first & second guest cabins. This heads has a domestic style WC, a washbasin & shower. Next to port is the second guest cabin with a bed of 2m x 1.2m and a slide out berth above. Finally the full width owners suite with double bed 2m x 1.5m and tons of cupboard space. There is also an ensuite heads & shower room with another domestic type WC. There is at least 2m headroom throughout the interior and reverse cycle A/C is installed in all three cabins. No heating or A/C elsewhere in the boat but excellent ventilation and our clients have lived comfortably on board full time since 2011. A self contained crew cabin is forward of the master suite bulkhead and accessed from the foredeck. It is equipped with a bed 2m x 1.2m a sea toilette, a shower and storage.

Turkish Gulet for sale. Boatshed France is pleased to offer this classic wooden ketch rigged cutter for sale in the Mediteranean. Built in Turkey where wooden Gulet building is a cross between an art and an obsession this is a very well looked after example that has been in the same loving hands since 2011 and has enjoyed regular annual maintenance as well as improvements and upgrades ever since. Her experienced owners live full time all year round on board and have never chartered her, preferring to enjoy a wonderful relaxed cruising lifestyle cruising widely throughout the Mediterranean. A practical cruising sailing home well able to produce 6 or 7 knots whether under sail or power and offering a wide margin of comfort and safety whilst doing so.
Our vendors are so sure of the condition and quality of their vessel that they will contribute 2000 euros towards the cost of a survey by your chosen surveyor (you choose your surveyor). They will give you the 2000 euros towards the cost whatever the outcome!!
